Heads-up for SKY Subscribers

I just came across this in yesterday's Tribune.

They stuck a letter in with the Sky magazine, which I usually put straight onto the recycling pile unopened.

Bottom line is, you have to ring them and ask to have your details removed from both marketing lists, unless you want more junk mail.

Even better.

Sky News are at this very moment running a story about all the mailing list that people can be on, and their details being shared, without their knowledge or approval.

Wonder how long it will take them to pull that story, seeing as they are a major offender themselves, and in trouble with the data Irish Data Protection Commissioner, for supplying such information to third parties, without the consent of their customers.

I, as per usual threw their magazine into the bin
