RTE Radio 1 have being running Suspected fraud by Ulster Camogie Council as a news item all morning. Do you think people (or the BBC) in the North would be interested in the 'possibility' of a few bob going missing in small sports association in the Republic?
Ulster includes more than the 6 counties. Any case where Government money has gone missing and where their equivalent of the C&AG raises the issue of a whistleblower not being listened to is going to be media worthy. I don't see any objection to it at all. What's your objection?
There are far bigger wastes of money in this country, yet RTE does not bother to report, as this requires investigate journalism. A lost art in this country.
well i'm not going to disagree that RTE and most media outlets in the country should do a lot more investigative journalism but I don't see how reporting on one that's been dropped in their lap is a bad thing, your view seems a bit contradictory.
