i was browsing on e-bay and have something that is in the wanted now section. after dusting it down and putting in new batteries it is working perfectly. i have serched on e-bay and googled it and it seems to be quite rare to find one in p.w.o. it is a toy from the 1970's. how could i go about getting a rough price for it considerining all the one's on e-bay are damaged or repaired. this is perfect. father and other half telling me hold on to it for another 10 years. me = there is no pockets in coffins. I know the person who wants this item will obviously make a profit at some stage but i think my oh has been watching too much antiques roadshow

If you sell to a wanted ad it's buyers market, I would put it up on ebay for sale, that way you'll catch the other fellas potential market too.

the way i think of it is that it's another piece of stuff i don't want gone out of my house.
keep watching the other items on ebay that are the same, look and see how many people bid on the other items.when it down to only one of this type of item then list it yourself.
u can always legitimally contact the underbidders in the other auctions to let them know you have the item for sale
good luck with it

You can always put a reserve on the auction as well so it won't sell if the bidding doesn't go above your reserve price. Definitely sell it and de-clutter! I've sold loads of old unwanted toys and comics etc. I've used the proceeds to buy up other peoples cast offs!! :)
I can guarantee you there'll be plenty of people with saved searches for your item that will receive emails from ebay as soon as you put your item up and just watch the number of hits on your auction shoot up. Very exciting to see the frenzy of bidding in the last five minutes of an auction! Good luck!
