Have I overpaid taxes?

HI All,

I was working in ireland for a number of years and then moved to USA recently. In 2006 I was employed in the IT industry and moved to US in June 2006. Since I did not work the full year, have I overpaid taxes? If so, does anybody know the link to online forms that need to be filled in? Also what all documents do i need to send to Revenue Ireland to claim it back?

You can check your tax position online through reachservices (link is on revenue.ie homepage). You are likely to have overpaid tax in 2006 if you only worked for 6 months and will need your P60 to make a claim. Don't forget to claim any other credits you are entitled to (health/dental, trade union subs, refuse charges, rent etc).
