Their website is 8.7% but I was just quoted 8.4% on the phone?

Can't say for BOI but I know for AIB their graduate rate is a fixed % amount below their variable rate. Maybe BOI are the same so, just check the variable rate - this might explain.

There is a difference between Rate & APR - The lower the APR the cheaper the loan
