Have all the upgrade problems been fixed?

We upgraded last week but we had some problems due to tweaks we had made to the old system. ClubMan has now reversed all these and as far as we can tell, this has eliminated all the problems.

If you still have problems please make sure to force a refresh using Ctrl + F5 and make sure that you're not otherwise picking up an old/cached copy of any files.

Note that FireFox users may need to completely clear their cache as it may be retaining cached JavaScript files even when a refresh is forced (don't know for sure but I had to clear my cache to get things working even after the bugs were fixed).

Has anyone spotted anything which has not been fixed?

Go to Search this Forum and it searches all forums unless you choose Advanced search,

For example search for warranty under Car Related Issues.

If I remember correctly it usen't to be like that

Logging out is (sometimes) a two screen process for me at the moment. Running IE6.

Can you explain this in more detail please - preferably with verbatim messages/errors. Did you make sure to purge your browser cache?

Yeah - I can reproduce this and it looks like a mistake. I will investigate later this evening. Thanks for pointing it out.

I knew you would ask that! Since I reported it, it hasn't happened! Typical. Consider it fixed unless I can get backto you (with some screen grabs).

I had the same (minor) problem as hansov, but ....bingo, just as she/he said it.

I've not had any script-error warnings for the past hour! Thank you for all your hard work (what a talented ClubMan it is!)

Seems to have been a bit of a bug in one of the templates. I have fixed this now and the search invoked via Search This Forum seems to be restricted to the selected forum (and child forums if applicable) as expected.

Not that it really matters, but when I first visit AAM before logging in, the times of posts are always one hour ahead. Once I log in, the time is correct.

Yes - that's simply an inaccuracy in the text on the site. We recently had to reintroduce mandatory registration again because some dickhead was abusing the board. Most people are cooperative and responsible enough not to engage in this sort of puerile behaviour but there's always one (or more).

I think that's fixed now. Daylight saving was still enabled for the board as a whole beven though we are not on DST since some time in October. Not sure why the system (server or vBulletin) doesn't detect this automatically... and I'm not totally clear on how the server/vBulletin time settings and the user time settings interact. If anybody sees the wrong time (out by an hour one way or another) then go to UserCP -> Edit Options -> Date & Time Options and see what they are. If necessary post them here.

Do you mean that you logout and it takes you to this page before you can continue browsing the site? If so that may be a change from the previous version of vBulletin but it's not a bug.

No that's not the one. Sorry: as I said earlier, it hasn't happened since I posted. I remember something about an "error" and click here to logout properly or something like that. Once again, sorry I should have taken a screen grab of the numerous times it happened, I didn't and it hasn't happened since. Maybe heinbloed can remember.

If it's no longer happening then it doesn't matter as it may have been related to the other script problems that are now fixed.

I normally read posts by clicking "new posts". I don't read them all.
However sometimes I have to check posts using the forum option.

One problems I've noticed is items are marked as read when I know that I haven't read them.
Another problems is all / most items are marked as read in each forum. May be related to prev problem.

I have no problems with the New Posts feature remembering which new posts have been read and which have not. However if you log out and back in then all posts are automatically marked as read even if you have not read them. Perhaps that's what is happening?
