Travelling around the midlands and munster I have spotted several posters urging me to vote for individuals for president.

One in North Tipp (Roscrea) features a pleasant looking man in a cardigan on a green background. It is not clear what party he represents Sinn Fein, The Greens or perhaps hes and independent.

Anyway it looks like the next presedential election will be contested and that some of the candidates are off the block already.

The posters are quite professional and I have seen them all around the Midlands and Munster. They have the "look and feel" of party political posters.

The candidates, Ruaidhri Deasy (North Tipperary), Raymond O’Malley (Louth) and Padraig Walshe (Laois) have been campaigning for several months. .............................They will take part in a series of debates around the country this month, giving IFA‘s membership of 85,000 the opportunity to hear what each has to offer.
