Has anyone viewed the AH's in Latchford, Ongar ?

Hi, i am on the waiting list for a 2 bed house in Latchhford, Ongar and im wondering has anyone seen them yet? im ment to be viewing them in a few weeks.

There was a viewing two weeks ago on a thursday at 12 or something ridiculas. Is it only me that finds it difficult to get random days off at a days notice during the week. Surely they must realise we all work or we wouldn't be on the affordable list?

i totally agree, this whole process it a bit of a joke, how long have you been waiting?

Since june I've given up on it to be honest i'll have the deposit saved to buy on the open market at this rate plus at least i'll get something i really want.

that is exacty the way im thinking, sure then there is no claw back, and you can move if you wanted.. and to think the amout of houses there is out there just lying idle. Joke..

How did you find the houses in Latchford? (asking the people, who has viewed them). Last month i was told by Fingal cc. That the 3 bed-duplex in Tyrrelstown are awesome. Size: 120 sq metre (1280 Sq. yard) I asked my number on the list that was 10. She said 1 person on the list is sure about buying that duplex and the others, she didnt know. So, i couldnt take that risk to go for the view because i aslo liked the duplex in Swords, holywell wood. Viewing for Swords was before Tyrellstown. If i didnt got a chance to buy tyrellstown then the holywell duplex also would be gone. It was a very difficult situation at that time for me.

I have seen a similar 3-bed duplex in Tyrellestown avenue. On the same road. I think number 150, i dont remember. That duplex was really nice.

But now i am happy with what i have. The Swords duplex.

i actually viewed a 3 bed duplex in tyrellstown (193) and yes it is quite big but i wasnt familiar with the area so i declined the offer.

i have heard the latchford houses are very small, and i think the kitchens are to the front so im not to keen on that.

does anyone know if there any give on these houses as to changing any aspects to it, or even if the attic can be diverted

I just had a look at fingal co co website there are new duplex 2 and 3 bed coming up. Their prices are just not decided yet. In santry and oldtown

As far i have heard. It's a nice area. It isnt like mulhuddart and other blanchardstown area's.

thats a bit far out for my range, im looking to stay in d15, i should be greatful for anything i get really but i dont want to settle.
