Joanne, If you feel in need of reassurance, I can tell you that it's not a difficult course, and it certainly doesn't involve anything like you mentioned. When I did it, we were given a CD to watch and listen to, , and learn from, in your own time. The CD 'lesson' was split between various software applications (word processing, internet, database, excel spreadsheet etc). We just studied one application at a time, and then we did a short test on that particular application. After that test, we moved on to study the next application, and so on.
