Has anyone had a meal in The Bank Restaurant, Limrick

I've had a mid-day lunch (carvery) there some time back and wouldn't rate it very high but I did read here (or Boards.ie) that it was due a new chef and was supposed to improve, can't confirm if it happened.

A search of both sites might find something.
 
Thinking of booking your xmas night out? It's grand. You could do better if you are thinking this far ahead though.
 
I had my 30th there this year and to be quite honest was not too impresed at all.
 
I ate there about two years ago and it's was a pub (not a restaurant) serving mediocre food.
 
Well thanks for replies, wont be booking there, anyone I asked seemed to have same opinion
 
Watch out for a small man with Groucho Marx moustache....apparently he threatens people at the bar ;)
