Hi there,
I was looking up cheapest oil http://www.cheapestoil.ie/default.aspx. To see if I could get some quotes. the cheapest was this crowd http://www.boilerjuice.ie/, you can order from them however there are no contact details- so I rang my current provider as they were mentioned on the http://www.cheapestoil.ie/default.aspx site and they said they dont work with any websites like these and could not condone them.

Has anyone dealth with http://www.boilerjuice.ie/ (<span style="color: #800080">http://www.boilerjuice.ie/</span>)? Is this a scam?
Cheers,
P

Boilerjuice is very big in England and is trying to do the same thing in Ireland.

They are basically a web portal for traditional oil distributors. You will never see an oil tanker with "Boilerjuice" written on the side. Instead you'll get an oil distributor you'll probably have heard of (and no, I don't know which one's are signed up with them).

If you are an oil distributor that doesn't have a website - its an easy way to compete with other suppliers that do.
Note that www.cheapestoil.ie is independent and makes money through advertising. They don't accept payment on their website and have no idea if you go on to order oil or not. (I admit it - I run cheapestoil.ie)

Boilerjuice handle payments on behalf of distributors and will give you the lowest price for the distributors that have set a price in your area. This will include their commission. I imagine the commission would be very small.

Just wanted to let you know that I ordered oil with Boilerjuice on Saturday as they were the cheapest on cheapestoil.ie. Paid by credit card and was a bit concerned as they also asked for the three digits on the back. Received confirmation emails and the oil arrived this morning from Jones Oil.

Happy all round and no affiliation to cheapestoil.ie or Boilerjuice.
