Hi All, not sure if this is the right place to ask or if I should start a new thread.
Myself and himself switched our mortgage to Ulster Bank earlier this month.
This morning we both received letters from Ulster Bank to say they had made multiple credit enquires in error following our mortgage application during the period of July 22nd to July 26th.
They advised that there will be multiple footprints on the report for up to 5 years on the Central Credit Register.
Also noted that duplicate searches on the Irish Credit Bureau have been removed.
Sincere apologies for the error.
I'm just wondering before I do any further investigating is this something of huge concern should Ulster Bank be submitting a note to our credit reports that the searches were done in error. I've never had any dealings with the CCR or the ICB so no clue where to start with this.
Thanks.
