...I know its a trad music festival in clare but could anyone elaborate? Its on this week but if I went up at the weekend, say friday eve, would it be impossible to get accomodation for the night, even camping?
Oh, I used to go every year for about five years great craic. We used to camp on/near the beach @ Spanish point. It's under two miles from Miltown Malbay.
My cousin was at it last year. Got a bit carried away and finished up with oedema! She would be fit as she hill walks regularly but multiple variations of the Clare set finished her off. She has not learned her lesson (although she is a teacher) and she is there again this year. Is there a word for being addicted to diddley-diddley dancing? But I believe it is great craic.
