Hi guys, has anyone been to or had a wedding in the talbot hotel in wexford? if so, would you recommend? Thanks!

Thanks Armada! Its a throw up between Talbot & Whites but I've never been to a wedding before in either!

Whites has a good name too and can cater well for bigger numbers but I think for a smaller! (normal size- 150 ish) wedding, The Talbot might have the edge.

Of course Ferrycarrig is still probably the most popular venue given its location and wedding reputation etc..

Talbot is a great hotel, have never been to a wedding there but have been down for a few week-ends over the years.

Id go for the talbot also...Its a much cosier hotel. I find whites very clinical.

Never been in Whites. Been to talbots and it was good.
