I went to marmaris 3 years ago and the shopping was great, loads of bargins to have, had to sit on the suitcases and cross your fingers on the way home that you wern't over the weight allowance.
We went again the following year, i didn't bother getting anything new before we left and i was going to pick up t-shirts, short, skirts ect for myself the fella and the kids when we got there. The prices had doubled from the previous year and i could of got things cheaper in dunnes and pennys. Lots of washing that year. and half empty suitcases coming home.
Didn't go last year so i have no idea what it's like there at the moment. Has anyone been and can comment on what the prices are like. I think they would know that we are in a recession so i doubt they would of put the prices up again, but you never know. Do you think it was good value over there for the things that you bought?
