has anyone any experience with Cartrawler for car hire

Hi,

I'm just wondering if anyone has used Cartrawler for booking car hire? They've given me a really good quote for one weeks hire, but being suspicious I'm wondering if there is a catch, the price is about €100 cheaper than going direct to one of the established car hire firms

Have used them countless times in the past, no hesitation in recommending them.

Be careful what they are not telling you. They will give you the absolutely bare bones package and
as I found out the hard way in Spain one time, I had to dig a good bit deeper to pay for the 'extras' as I was told.
A few things the Cartrawler people do not include can surprise you.
Check the fuel policy, milage, travel out of country and so on.
Insurance is a favourite, make very sure you read the small print on if you damage the car.
Say good bye to your excess loading if you as much as chip the paint.
That is your contract with the car company, not Cartrawler.
Get the cheapest quote from Cartrawler and then try the company direct.
