Has anyone any experience (good or otherwise) using IPIN ()? I have just registered with them and would be interested in as much info on them as i can get. thanks

All I know about this outfit is from various snippets that have passed by me over the last few years, I have never gone into exactly how they operate, except that they seem to be like the "property secrets" operation.

I would have a number of my own personal indicators as to when to keep away from companies in the property business. This would include the use of marketing ploys like "guaranteed rentals", and off-plan in scary markets like Morocco.

IPIN as far as I recall has been involved in Morocco off-plan selling, and "guaranteed rental" in Bulgaria and Costa del Sol. They are probably fine for someone who just wants to tell his mates down the pub that he has a place abroad, but I can't see investors (i.e. people who do their research and expect returns) going near them.

Am I being paranoid or are we seeing another PS type thread (like the one just locked by the mods) emerging on the board?

It's really hard to know who to trust! They do have some guaranteed rental offers and some pre-release offers available, altohugh they offer what seems like good advice and have strict criteria re the developers they work with, but then how do you know as they can put what they like on a website?

Not sure but I think you'll find IPIN is a site where agents can join and market their property. They pay a fee for this. I may be wrong. The website owners produce a load of info, market reports etc to get you to keep visitng the site, the fact that you are a member would suggest you will recieive market updates and deals from the people that advertise on the site. I dont think if you a buy a property you'll be buying from IPIN, just a compney who advertises with them through their website.
