Harvey Norman Sliding Wardrobes?

Hi all, just wondering if anybody out there has got harvey norman, sliding door wardrobes and would you reccomend them???
We have a big space, H2560 and up to 3m long, had considered fitted sliding wardrobes but having got few quotes (€2,600++) saw these in harvey norman while in dub on Fri and they might do the trick, notfull ceiling height(only 2260) but think we could live with that and 2.5m wide, including lights on top and delivered and assmebled in Mayo for €1600.

Wank a dark wood colour (walnut, ish)
Looked at NewYork Mocha (sample in stock) had all mirrored doors, and avondale range, was told that Nocce Laminate colour choice was a dark wood but they didn't have an example in store, and not sure I trust the guy in store, can anyone tell me, if they have seen it, is the Nocce a dark wood?
Or tell me if I'm getting a good deal on freestanding sliderobes?//

I got one in Harvey Norman for €999. I can't remember if the delivery & assembly was included in that price but I think it was. Light ish coloured wood, 3 wardrobe areas (middle bit a little smaller), lights on top, mirror on the central door. €1600 seems a bit expensive but maybe it's for the type of wood you want?

Thanks for reply cahir, that sounds like what I want apart from the colour, do you mind me asking when did you get this and was it on sale? the one I'm looking at was 1479 and lights extra 250 and delivery and assembly is normally free but to mayo would cost 200 and at the moment there is 15% off these prices?
Is their mirror easy to keep clean? Were you long waiting for delivery?

I got it in January/February 2007 and it wasn't on sale. The lights weren't counted as an extra cost. The mirror cleans easily enough but doesn't really get that dirty to begin with. There was less than two weeks between ordering and delivery and they arrived at the time they said they would so no waiting around for hours.

Sound like you got a good deal, and great service. don't think any of the wardrobes in there were 999 so I guess prices have gone up.

Just to let you know the sale is over since yesterday also, was closing at 6 last night and i left there at half past 6 €4,500 lighter!!

Got three king size beds 6 bedside lockers three chest of drawers free standing mirror and a vanity unit and three silent night matress paid a deposit of 20%. They have the prepriced bedroom packages which are very nice have another two bedrooms to furnish yet though! All had 20% off them so it was worth missing the match

Ya it was a great sale all money off is a bonus at this stage!! The house is 4,200 sqft! The finishing costs are very expensive

Ya same as mine, locking up the other two bedrooms for now!! €12,000 on the kitchen last week have 5 bathrooms to kit out too and suites to buy yet!!! The joys of it i guess!! €€€€€€€€€€
