Hello All,

A long time ago, I came along here and asked you lot to advise me on what I should do. I was in a situation where I owed money to a bank, and my guarantor (my dad) had to foot the bill. I had defaulted on my HP agreement and had to give back my car. I felt so awful because I thought it was the end to any financial instituition trusting me. You all advised that I should clear the debt, which back in the time I thought was pointless because I had a massive black mark on my name anyway.

Present Day:
After taking your advice I cleared my debts with the bank and Dad, and today I got my first mortgage, which I hand on heart thought would be something that would never happen in my life. My hubbie is a student, so it was me going solo, and I got great offers, from many different banks.

Thanks for all the help. And for anyone that reads and is in debt, it really is okay, you can get out and repair your name.
