How????

I have tiled bathroom and wanted to hang lovel new mirrors over sink. Tiles are put on over stud partition plasterboard wall.

I drilled the holes through the tiles.

Then, the standard plastic rawlplug was no good. No problem, I thought, i will go to Atlantic and get the metal ones that expand as you close them. They held up the curtain rails. Alas, no good as they need to be slightly tapped into the plaster to get a form grip before screwing them tight.

Next thing I bought was a metal rawlplug, but this will not screw into the tiles, as they are too hard.

Has anyoe any advice? I was thinking about the 'no more nails' or a good glue, but then what do I do, if the morror ever falls or gets cracked????

I am now looking at, as are the rest of the family, at two 12mm drill holes in the tiles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the old spring toggle bolt is what you need.

The plastic raw plug should have done the job. Are you drilling through tiles?
Why 12mm holes? They seem very big
