Hi,

I read a little the topic on Halifx,
I m a little afraid because it seems that halifax is specialised to give a big rate interest in a first time and after reduce it !

What is the best alternative solution if I want to do regular montlhy saving ?

I'm with the Bank of Scotland (halifax) for a number of years and their interest rates far exceed all the others, and I have no other business with them apart from deposits.
 
As regards these Best Deposit Rates, Halifax now offers 4% instead if the former 7%. It will be interesting to see if some of the other Regular Savings rates will also be dropped on the !st April?
 
Halifax now offer 7% on their regular saver - limit €350 per month. See their website
 
Rang Anglo Irish who said that the 7% still holds for Regular Savings. also First Active whose rate of 7.15% is to continue. Also rang EBS whose rate of 7% will drop to the ECB rate on the 30th April.
