Halibut oil

Halibut oil was just mentioned on the Derek Mooney show as being a great mozzie deterrent. Three guys used it and were the only ones sitting by the lake that were ignored by the flying hordes. I wonder if this is just a story or whether there is any truth on it?

I'd say if you smeared yourself in fish oil it wouldn't only be the mozzie's that would avoid you!
