Can anyone recommend gutter repair specialists in South Co. Dublin/Wicklow? Already had the job done by a general builder and now it's worse than ever.

Gatherer, did you find someone to repair your gutter? I'm also looking (cast iron, broken joint).
 
A bit O/T but have you come across the open cell foam that is extruded in a profile to match various gutters? The claim is that when you fit it into the gutter ( fills the gutter ) the water runs as it should ( through the foam ) but that leaves etc do not lodge in the gutter ?

Rant

Anyone notice the little gutters that are being fitted to appartment blocks. I've seen this sort of carryone with six floor blocks. Cleaning will require an access hoist & in many cases one could not be positioned where needed. Is this really the best that the designers can come up with?

Never found anyone willing or able to take on cast iron gutter but got silicone reapplied. So far it seems to be a better job than before though it's yet to be fully tested. Old dog's open cell foam sounds interesting- might do a better job. (In our case the line of the gutter from next door is out of kilter and to really fully repair it might be a big job spanning several houses in a terrace- so compromise solutions may have to do...).
