As a Guinness drinker, I was pleasantly surprised when I received an email today offering me the chance to get tickets for Arthur's Day music events early.

Great I thought, as I remember hearing how well many of last years passed off.

Imagine my disappointment when I read that the chance is to buy tickets for 'concerts in Dublin, Galway and Cork'.

Yeah cheers Guinness Like we all live in those cities.
People drink Guinness outside of these places, pity your loyal punters have to travel half the length of the country at least to experience one of the shows.

Ever hear of Belfast, Derry, Letterkenny, Sligo, Armagh? (I could go on).

Head shops are being closed down, yet guinness is promoting alcohol consumption via music events.

Yeah it's hypocritical, we all get it.

Alcohol seems to be a socially acceptable drug whereas the stuff coming out of headshops is not.

Just seems to be the way society is and I wouldn't bet on it changing.

How would you like to see things change?

What do people think of that ad.
Personally I think it is nauseating.
It is various huge baying crowds urging everyone to buy arthur.
Pretty crude but no doubt effective.
