Guernsey - worth taking a job there?

Hi! I just got offered a job in Guernesey as a child psychotherapist. It doesn't start untill August next. The pay is Stg£40,000 starting with heavily subsidised rent and relocation expenses.

I have children and my ex who sees them two weekends a month would have to agree, and we would have to arrange access and flights home for the children.

I don't have to let them know for a week - but just wondered do people think it's worth taking/considering. It's almost impossible to get work in my line of work here and private work as almost dried up.
