Group booking flights

Hi ya i am getting married next summer and we have decided on Italy as the destination. I am looking for some info on group booking flights ?
What are the pro's and con's of it ?
We are looking for about 50 people flying from Dublin. Would there be a discount ?
Would i collect the money from guests and pay with my credit card ?
How does one go about this.
