Greenstar waste collection Cork city.

For past 40 years I have used Cork City coporation for waste collection. Have fond memories of the bin men waving up to our young children who would peek out of the windows when they heard the lorry coming. Consequently i am reluctant to change but Greenstar has bombarded us with leaflets saying we would sae 127 Euro pa if we switched. Dont really know if Corporation are trying to keep their business as i would hate to be in any responsible for job losses. I may appear a softie but that is the way it is. Any comments?

Hi,

I changed to Green Star last year, they collect glass too which the CoCo don't.
They also are cheaper.
The only issue I had was the CoCo left us with the old wheelie bins.
