I'd like to invest a about 5K-10k for my child in a green investment with a maturity of about 18 years approximately (would give to the child on their 21st birthday or wedding, whichever came first).
I was looking at forestry but am a little dubious about these, at least the Irish funds I've read most about.
I'm not fussy as to whether its forests or not, just would like it to be a green investment as a personal preference.
If anyone has some suggestions for areas to look at or indeed funds that would be worth researching further I'd be very grateful.
