Green Bin Contents. Does anyone make money from it?

I work near a few plants that separate the recycled materials before they are shipped off elsewhere to make weapons, I mean useful stuff.

Such a dreadful job sorting, all foreign nationals and a very high turnover. The companies have changed names/ownership numerous times. I would imagine it is not the 'cleanest' industry.
