greek crisis, effect on markets

This greek crisis is really hitting the markets, I dread to see what will happen tomorrow when markets open. Greece only small economy I dont understand why it is having such a big effect on everything, is the whole thing a bit over blown. Maybe it will be better if they leave euro at least then it will be finished with.

The markets are afraid of there being a knock on effect. If Greece defaults, will other nations default. If it leaves the Euro, will other countries seek to leave it and create an uncertain currency?

Then there is the default insurance cover provided by a lot of the big banks. If (when) Greece defaults, there will be billions in payouts
