Great value stairs and joinery

Hi

Just got a price off Dublin Door & Timber products, Finglas,01 8068044 Anthony for a white oak stairs - approx Eur 1400.00!! Steps are engineered oak with a 6 mm wear layer.

We've been quoted anything between 5 - 8 K from local joiners supply only.

We also got great value on white oak skirting board from them.

No connections whatsoever just shopping around & thought I'd share.

Joinery were surely pricing for solid oak!??

I agree - me thinks you're comparing two very different products !!

I agree with other posters - a €1,400.00 stairs is not oak of any colour - its a laminate of some kind, which I'm sure is fine, as long as you know what it is you are buying.

straight run, only strings and steps, probably. Def no spindles, newels, handrail, baserail included.
