Just a quick query. The plan is to book the combo tour i.e helicopter, hotel transfers and boat trip through our hotel in Vegas. is this recommendable.
Your advise would be appreciated

it is as it is booked up well in advance, you may be lucky to get a cancelation like I did on a trip I made but everything was booked up weeks in advance

Probably depends when you are going ? In holiday season, yes it might be necessary to book well in advance, however we drove to the GC, and booked our trips there and then for the next day, no problem whatsoever ( This was in May). You might be able to shop around when you are in Vegas.

I was in Vegas in May 2002. Although I didn't take a trip to Grand Canyon, I seem to recall many companies trying to flog trips to Grand Canyon on the side of the street aand in hotels.

Don't take my word for it. Check out www.vegas.com/traveltips and simialr sites.
