Gran Canaria or Lanzarote early November

I am think of going to either of the above ex Shannon in early November, from Shannon. Options in our budget appear to be Maspalomas, Puerto Rico or Playa Del Inglis on Gran Can or Matagorda in Lanzarote.

Does anybody have any opinions on what these places are like in November?

Was there in Lanzarote lately. Holiday rep told us that it can be very cool over there in the Winter due to the high humidity.

The weather is good all year round in either location. Should get 20 deg C plus that time of year. Gran Canaria gets sunnier weather on average that time of year, so would probably suggest there. Also has not the problem of boatloads of illegal immigrants arriving from africa!
