GP Visit Card

A friend says she gets travel expenses for driving to work as part of the GP visit card. She has a child and her commute to work would be about 500km per week. I can't find anything online saying that you get travel to work allowance as part of the gp visit card. I applied and was 20 euro over the limit for the gp visit card so it won't affect me, just curious how it works?

No, her travel expenses are factored in when assessing eligibility for the gp card.

"Allowances for weekly travel costs to work are assessed as the actual cost of public transport or, if a car is required, as mileage at 30 cent per mile (18 cent per km)."
