New first time buyer and I was told there’s some booklet out about management company Some government agency perhaps?
Where can I get this?

There's a couple of different ones.

Robert Gogan's independent book: The Essential Guide to Apartment Living in Ireland. Available from [broken link removed] and book shops.

National Consumer Assocation has 2 different booklets - free to download from their website. www.consumerproperty.ie

Robert Gogans book is the best 15 Euro you will spend if looking for information about apartment mangement companies.
I have accessed the Governments documents but they are no way as informative.

The Government agency you might have heard something about is the National Property Services Regulatory Authority which is being set up by the govt to register and monitor auctioneers and property management agencies. They aren't up and running yet but their website is:
