Government incentive for Training / Education

Guys,

You might be able to help me on this. I heard that the government has an incentive related to in house training and third level education for employeers.
In other words for every person that the company trains or support the education then the goverment gives a relief, incentive, to back to the company.

If you know, would you please give me some info or direct me as where I can get this info.

Have you checked on for info about such schemes? Perhaps something like ?
 
Much would depend on the nature of your employer's business. Can you post a little more detail, without explicitly identifying the company? See also the BASIS page relating to .
 
Fas has launched a funding support for those employers who send their employees on certain skills based traing courses. Is that what you mean? - Can't find link right now, but will post back later with more details.

Do you mean (original poster) writing off money spent on employees training by the employer, if so revenue would be useful to contact. PS what does HTH mean???
 
Thanks for that Cosy, I couldn't find it for a while. That's the training incentive I mean.
