I have recieved a canon camera printer at my home which I didn't order. I have got this from Holland. I have checked my credit card and I am not charged for it. I didn't order it. It came to my home with my name written on it.
I am wondering what shall I do. Should I contact supplier and ask them how did they got my details ( I am more worried about this. How come somebody in Holland knows my address and my name )
I don't have friends in Holland and there is no invoice attached.
It does give a sender name and I googled sender name on internet and it is a company in Holland which helps internet shopping web sites to store and deliver their goods to customers.
I tired looking for their customer but I can't find anything.
To add to this conversation, I had bought a canon camera from pixmania recently.
Don't worry about the fact you don't have friends in Holland. I have friends there and they never send me anything.
Shipping companies can be located anywhere. The fact that is it Holland is not significant.
Is it a canon printer? Maybe pixmania have mixed your order with another order (I presume you have got your camera?). A bit odd that it doesn't have an invoice with it. There are any number of ways an impersonal supply chain can ship the wrong package to the wrong address (or multiple packages to the wrong address!).
I would send a letter to the shipping company asking for the source of shipment. You are left with no other method of returning the printer. Otherwise, maybe pop into your local Garda station and ask for their advice.
