Inch Beach (one of the finest unspoilt beaches in the World) has disappeared from google maps.

Have you set the date forward on your computer? That enables the global warming / erosion prediction features. Either that or they've gone metric!
 
Yes, maybe Google know something about the effects of global warming that we dont!

Inch is on the Dingle Penninsula. If you google for Inch Dingle you will get many hits like this. In the 1980s there was a fawlty towers type establishment called "The Strand Hotel" I dont think it is still there. "Foleys Pub" featured in Cristy Moore's song "Casey Your the divil".
