Google Street View goes live Ireland Thu, Sep 30, 2010

It is fascinating zooming in and out of houses and having a good look -some Drimnagh pics I reckon Sept 2009 - I personally witnessed a Google Van then in the area.
 
I have already asked them to remove my house from it.

I have found many cars where you can clearly read the numbers.
 
 
Getting your house removed could actually draw more attention to your house nobody can see on Google Street View - you cant hide your address. Anybody can jump on a Bus and head off to some housing estate and walk around for the day exploring the area. Just as well nobody here lives on Ramsay Street (pin oak court).
 


Yeah, but they would have to make a bit of effort to do that, most wouldn't bother. I can't see the point in including residental areas apart from a voyeuristic point of view. It won't in any way attract tourists as was put across by Coughlin.
 
I just checked my house and I don't recognise the car in the drive!
