Don't know if this has been posted before but I came across this. If you like Google as your homepage, it allows you to customise your homepage with loads of weird items (satellite tracking anyone??) rather than the vanilla google searchbar.

Makes a change from Yahoo which I have used for years (or maybe I should have AAM ;))
 
I would agree TallPaul especially if you use gmail as your e-mail client.

The home page is a decent idea but I think it goes against the google home page policy of being not like yahoo,msn et al. Its uncluttered, free of ads etc. You get a clean page with a search box and thats it, nothing to distract you.
