Google Family Link on iPhone

I currently use Google's Family Link for parental control of my children's android devices, and am happy with how it works.

My daughter wants an iPhone for Christmas. Google says that Family Link is available on iPhones for IoS 11 and above, however would be interested to hear if any other parents have used an android phone to monitor a childs iPhone using Family Link and if they encountered any issues.

I have heard that it can be hit and miss and does not always work as expected (eg. Family Link showing the iPhone as locked but child is still able to use it)

Thanks for those links, I didnt think of checking the app store reviews, however when I click on that link it only allows me to view 10 reviews, even though it says there are 2.3k ratings. Perhaps I need an iPhone to view all reviews!
