Google Chrome browser - blank pages on startup

Any other Chrome users out there?

I'm trying it out and I like the integrated address/search box. It is a bit more natural.

I added Chrome to my startup group (under Vista) and set the startup pages to my desired set of tabs (with AAM as No.1 of course). However, when my PC boots, Chrome opens up with the desired tabs, all of them with blank pages. And when I do a first manual refresh, it seems to show a cached out-of-date version of the page in question.

Has anyone else seen this, or got a solution?

could it be the internet connection has not come on line. can take a few moments as part of the startup process.

Thanks Joe, but I don't think that is the problem .Firefox never had that problem when starting up, and my yoke is so bloody slow I'd be fairly confident that the network connections are well in place.
