Most of my colleagues have switched, or forward, their online mail to gmail at this stage, with integration to gmail that calendar looks tasty.

Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.
  • Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
  • Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
  • Are you sure that the database server is running?
If you're unsure what these terms mean you should probably contact your host. If you still need help you can always visit the WordPress Support Forums.

Yeah - I was getting that yesterday (and posted above but subsequently deleted it - hence car's now odd first comment above) but eventually the link started working and contained a description of some new online calendar application from Google.

I've not really had a chance to use it yet but (not received any reminders yet), for me I will never need the calander in my phone or a PDA now.
 
Not always. I couldn't find one yesterday when our Irish Broadband connection went down (yet again) for most of the day and I had to go home in order to continue working with essential connectivity...
