It's at a very early stage, but I have an idea for a property investment (no laughing please). I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations with regard to sourcing investors, (region of €300-€400k investment in total).

Specialist corporate financiers?

Many professional firms have CF departments and there are obviously boutique CF firms too.

Establishing credibility and the relative small size of the total investment might be your biggest obstacles.

Sorry, new to all this. Would CF/Boutique CF firms represent private investors and source projects for them? I suppose the nature of the idea starting off is 3-4 investors, so it would be quite low risk, low return, but potential if it takes off.

Yeah, my understanding is that such firms often match those with cash with those who have ideas.

OP, try . They send out e-mails to thousands of people all over the world that are seeking investment opportunities.

Saw that website all right, has anyone used it, how did they find it?

I read the investments offered all the time. It's like all investments -- DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

Read through a few, seems reasonable superficially. Just wondering if anyone
has used the service and how they found it. Also I'm trying to source investors, so wondering if it's worthwhile signing up, or does it attract a lot of time wasters.

does it attract a lot of time wasters.

There is always going to be time wasters, regardless where you find possible Investors. If you believe that all possible Investors are going to simply jump in, you;re in for a bit of a shock. In case you hadn't realised it, Money is scarce at present. Investors spend many months of searching before they enter discussions and a deal is struck.

Jaysus didn't now, did it make the news any day? Take your point, but have 50% of the capital organised already, will be looking for people who are prepared to move quickly.
