Good Quality Camera - €250 - €300

Hi There,

I want to buy a camera for my friend as a wedding present. I'm looking for the following features:

• 10 Megapixels or higher
• Touch screen
• Face Recognition
• Not sure of tech term but instant...i.e. it doesn't take 30 secs to take the goddam photo
• Compact & Stylish
• Between €250 - €300 - although obviously if I can find all of the above for less that's a bonus!

I'd be greatful for any replies on this...

I have an older model IXUS and very happy with it.

This one ticks all the boxes for you apart from being touchscreen (which I find a bit fiddly)



The Sony Cybershot is touchscreen and would have the features you require. I don't know about price though.

I would go for a Canon. Possibly the best manufacturer of cameras.
