Good Hotel For Family Break?

So, my Father turns 70 next July.

What we are thinking of doing is all of us (5 Children, Mother, Father, the five Girlfriends, the 6 Grandchildren) heading down to a hotel for a couple of nights. Somewhere relaxing.

Obviously, with three generations it's going to be a bit mental. Which is why we need a hotel that has a nice balance and would be good for the kids and adults alike. Preferably with a golf course. Somewhere secluded would be great.

Just looking for peoples ideas as to be honest with you, I don't know where to start!

Thanks
Locke

www.kellys.ie Kellys Resort Hotel Rosslare Wexford, is highly recommended. Something to suit all ages, indoor and out door activities and a award winning resturant so the food is great too.

Locke we've done this type of thing before and to be honest with that many grandchildren you're probably better looking at a few houses as part of the hotel complex rather than hotel rooms which can be quite confined. Have a look at http://www.mountwolseley.ie/ which has quite a nice setup (including golf course and a row of houses).

Heyya Ceist Beag.

Yeah we were thinking that, Thanks for the link. It sounds like a goer if we had more room like that.

Hi! We went to Seafield in Wexford recently. Good deals available. Hotel or appartments. Spa is adult only which is bliss! Kids movie nights on tue and thur ideal for adult time. Cortown is only a couple of minutes away and the hotel has a 10% discount in the swimming pool there. There is also a great Pet farm near by! Oh yeah! Its on a golf course!
Any of the Hotels in Westport are ideal as is Breaffy Hotel in Castlebar!

This place is fabulous and has everything a family could need - inc self catering apts and a beautiful golf course

Any ideas on renting an apartment in New York for one month break
