good food enroute to shannon airport

we will be traveling to shannon airport from the patricks well side on friday and want to get a nice dinner on the way, is there some where nice in bunnratty? I dont want to go into the city centre so somewhere on the way if possible. Is there food at lunch time in the clarion or the south court we will be passing both. thanks

You could try Scotts in Alandale, they have a carvery every day and the food is good.

Don't wait till you get to Shannon anyway the Oakwood's lunch is gone downhill and the bar in shannon that used to serve food is closed as far as I know.

Rusells or the Unicorn in Dooradoyle might also be worth a look.

On the far side of Limerick, you have the Two Mile Inn, which does a big lunch trade. In Bunratty, you can get lovely food in the Avoca shop, or else good pub grub portions in the Creamery pub.

Durty Nellies Resturaunt is great. Also I understand that Gallaghers seafood resturaunt is also very good. Not sure if they do lunch though.
