Good Carpet Cleaner

I just got my apartment back after renting it out and the carpet is stained..
I don't want to replace it as it was only new before I had my tenant in (she was only there two months)
Does anyone know of a good carpet cleaner I can buy and clean it myself??

You could try Rug Doctor from B&Q. It is very easy to use, not too heavy or too expensive. You can hire it out for 24 or 48 hours and buy the detergent to go with it there also. It doesn't leave the carpet too wet like a lot of these cleaners do. I had it out for 48 hours to clean carpets and suite and it cost about €50.

I used the rugdoctor at the weekend and it was great, carpets spotless and as you said it was cheap to hire and easy to use....

I'd def get it again if needs be...
