Good All Rounder Hotel in Galway

Hi all,

We're off to Galway in March.

Any ideas for a good all rounder location to stay, nice hotel, not the craziest money and good management and good grub?

You cannot go too far wrong with the Days Hotel on the site of the old Galway Ryan Hotel good value and a large leisure centre.
If you ant soemthing at the top end of the market try the Radisson or the House Hotel both in the city centre
 
Menlo hotel on the headford road has good pub food and is a nice hotel about 10 mins walk from city centre also westwood house is a 4* and has nice pub grub
 
Harbour Hotel is lovely - quite new, right in the city centre, with a really nice restaurant and decent room rates.
 
you could try the Fairgreen Hotel...right next to the Radisson but much cheaper! really great city centre location and you get to use the spirit one (radisson) spa/gym facilities as far as i know!
 
Try the Ardilaun House Hotel - they do very reasonable deals, fab food, lovely leisure centre and very helpful staff. walking distance to the city, but the hill is quite steep for walking home.

No connection just a very happy customer.
