Golf Membership - Munster area

Hi All

My other half is looking to get golf membership. Can anyone recommend any good (and reasonable if at all possible!) courses in the Limerick/Kerry/Clare/Tipp/Cork area (in that preference order!!).

Castletroy, Ballyneety, Limerick County are all nice courses. Adare is very nice if you can get in!

Castleisland golf course in kerry have a membership drive on at the moment and have offered a reduced entrance fee up to christmas. It is a new course and is in central kerry

Woodstock in Ennis is a v nice course which good greens and 2 difficult water holes.

I like Woodstock but it's kinda heavy underfoot.

Kilrush is also worth a look and can be easily reached from West Limerick or Kerry via Tarbert-Killimer Ferry.

would also suggest kilrush. very reasonable subs. i think you can then play in its associate club in shannon for reduced green fee.
